General Psychiatry
Some of my areas of focus include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and adjustment disorders. I strive to keep up to date in the understanding and treatment of these conditions and to understand the impact of these conditions on an individual.
Attention Deficit
Difficulty with maintaining focus, shifting attention, and completing projects may be signs of ADHD. I work with patients to accurately diagnose the cause of attention problems and to get the symptoms under better control.
Addiction
I am certified to prescribe medications to treat opiate addiction in conjunction with therapy and counseling. I understand the difficulty of quitting painkillers and other drugs and have seen how life-changing Suboxone treatment can be.
Peripartum
I have specialized training working with pregnant and postpartum women. I offer pre-pregnancy consultations as well as treatment during the peripartum period.
